Lee Johnson was fortunate to have been raised in a construction family. His father owned and operated a general contracting business in Albany, Georgia for over twenty years. Lee's early experience was gained on construction jobs performing the "hands on" tasks that began his 35 years of experience in the industry. He attended Middle Georgia College and Southern Technical Institute where he majored in Architecture.

Lee is a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and Associated Builders & Contractors. He is a board member of SERV Ministries International, and a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church. Lee is married and has four children.
